The “Personal Information Security Policy for Customers” document (hereinafter referred to as the “Information Security Policy” or “Policy”) applies to the website and mobile application of The International School (“TIS”) located at https://tis.edu.vn (tis.edu.vn) and outlines TIS’s commitment to the security of individuals accessing and using the website https://tis.edu.vn (hereinafter referred to as “Customers”).

A.INFORMATION SAFETY POLICY

TIS has established an information security policy to prevent unauthorized access or use of information through the following measures:

Security systems to protect the servers and systems of TIS.

Customer information and transactions are protected during transmission/reception through encryption using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL encryption is an Internet security protocol used by web browsers to transmit sensitive information.

We check the system regularly to ensure there are no security breaches and to guarantee the safety of customer information, preventing any harm or compromise.

 

B. PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY

This Personal Information Security Policy is established in accordance with relevant legal regulations on Personal Data Protection (“Personal Data Protection Law”). For the purposes of this Information Security Policy, “Personal Information” will have the meaning as defined in the Personal Data Protection Law. TIS may change the Personal Information Security Policy at any time, and Customers should check this policy regularly.

Customers should read the entire Personal Information Security Policy below to understand your rights and obligations as well as TIS in respecting and protecting customer rights.

1.    Purpose and Scope of Personal Information Use for Customers

Personal information of customers collected through tis.edu.vn is used for the following purposes and scope:

–        – Providing services to customers on the TIS website and mobile application;

–      Introducing services, or sending advertising materials and/or promotions to customers

–        Notifying customers of preferential programs, updates, and promotional programs

–        Contacting, supporting, resolving customer inquiries (if any);

–        Improving, upgrading the content and interface of the website and mobile application, as well as the quality of TIS services based on customer feedback during use.

–        TIS collects customer personal information when using services on tis.edu.vn including:

+      Registering for school visits;

+      Registering for admission counseling;

+      Inquiring about information on study programs, summer programs at TIS;

+      Registering for participation in events, school seminars

+      Registering for TIS scholarship programs

+      Registering for clubs (for parents, students…), extracurricular programs at TIS;

+      Contact: Admissions, recruitment, complaints, feedback, opinions, advertising…

+      Parents log in to sign the Handbook.

Thus, TIS may use the information provided by customers to: Contact customers directly through forms such as: calling, sending email notifications, providing information related to customer service packages… via email or phone number provided by customers.

–  All information provided by customers must be accurate and legal. TIS assumes no legal responsibility for any inaccuracies or falsification of customer-provided information.

2.    Scope of Customer Data Collection

TIS collects the following information from customers: Customer’s name, phone number, email, feedback, student’s name, student’s grade & other information legally permitted.

3.    Duration of personal information storage

Personal Information provided by customers will be retained by TIS until the completion of the purposes specified in this Policy, in accordance with legal regulations, accounting regulations, or to protect benefits of TIS.

4.    Individuals or organizations that may access information:

Customers agree that TIS has the right to disclose and transfer Personal Information to:

–        TIS (and/or our affiliated companies) may disclose customer’s Personal Information to service providers, suppliers, or service agents including but not limited to network providers, financial organizations, website server services, data analytics, marketing, and service providers, who have security obligations to TIS.

–        Authorized state agencies may access customer information in cases where TIS is required to provide customer information.

–        TIS staff uses information to support, answer inquiries, and provide services to customers.

If customers do not want to continue receiving information or do not want us to use, disclose, or transfer your Personal Information for any purpose specified in this Policy, customers may contact or email us at the address and email provided at the end of this Policy.

6.    Methods of accessing, editing customer’s personal data.

The website has not yet implemented a customer personal information management page, so access and correction of personal data depend on customer requests by calling (84.28) 38 452 678, where TIS’s staff will assist in making corrections.

If any customer discovers that someone has impersonated you to provide personal information to TIS, the customer may directly contact TIS to report and request cancellation. Within our authority, TIS will make efforts to verify and promptly resolve in accordance with regulations to prevent unauthorized behavior.

7.    Advice to Customers:

TIS and related parties will make an effort to secure customer’s personal information.

TIS is not responsible for any damages or losses (if any) resulting from customer non-compliance with TIS regulations and/or cases where personal information disclosure is not due to TIS’s fault

 

This security policy only applies to the TIS website and mobile application and does not govern or relate to third-parties advertising or linking to this website and mobile application. TIS advises customers to carefully read the security policies of third-party websites before providing personal information to their websites. TIS assumes no responsibility in any form for the content and legality of the website or the personal information collection behavior of customers by third-parties.

In case customers do not agree with the terms of this Security Policy, TIS suggests that customers should not send personal information to TIS.

8.    Applicable Terms:

The Security Policy is published on tis.edu.vn, and in case of amendments or supplements, we will notify promptly on this website.

Customers agree that, by continuing to use the TIS website and mobile application, you acknowledge, agree, and commit to comply with this Policy as well as any subsequent modifications.

DISCLAIMER

By accessing and using TIS website, customers acknowledge and agree to accept the potential risks associated with the use of the website and mobile application. Regarding the rights that customers have under the Consumer Protection Law and within the limits of the law, TIS shall not be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, consequential, incidental or loss of profits arising from the use, access, or inability to use the website. Without limiting the foregoing:
