Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. used to say “Where we love is home – home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.” What it feels like to come home after a long time? You may see familiar faces, familiar sights and sounds, scents and tastes and you may remember old stories… And it it exactly what TIS Homecoming shall bring to you.
TIS DAY – Homecoming is the traditional day of TIS, an event that takes place on 2nd Saturday of August every year for all generations of students, teachers, parents and close friends all around the world to return. This is a great day, a true occasion with many exciting and meaningful activities, so everyone shall have the opportunity to meet and then share the feelings of coming back with love and empathy, as well as build a spirit of togetherness for a promising future ahead.
For nearly 20 years, TIS has been the place where generations of students have grown up and thrived, gained success in their studies and works. Those mischievous, naughty students, now become real adults. Whether you have just graduated or graduated for years, no matter how busy your life is, how much you have grown, you will forever keep the good memories and precious feelings under the same roof called TIS.
TIS Day 2018 will be held on August 11th, 2018, including a series of interesting activities from July 23rd to August 11th, 2018. It is promised to be a space full of memories of TIS-er generations throughout the past 20 years. Home is a place where we belong. A place to return to. May your journey always lead you home!
